HIS BEHAVIOR HAS IMPROVED Dear Master Rorhrock, I am writing to you to thank you for all the help, for 3 months now. Zaden has had a few traumatic experiences in his young life. I had to seek professional help for him with therapists, doctors, and crisis counsellors. Since he has been enrolled in Kung Fu his behaviour has improved greatly. He looks forward to coming to class and really likes his training. Mr Lauffenburger has the patience of a saint and Zaden really admires him and likes going to his class. I was a little afraid of letting him enroll because of his aggressive behaviour but it is the best thing I could have done for him. All of his therapists and counsellors have noticed a marked improvement in his behaviour, and he is so much calmer and less angry with me also. So again I want to thank you and Mr Lauffenburger for all of the help, support, and kindness you have shown Zaden. Thank You so very much. Nadine C Devlin

BILLY HAS BEEN SUCCESSFUL “My husband and I would like to acknowledge your efforts and the schools in the training of Billy. Your expertise and teaching experience have motivated Billy to what we feel have been successful accomplishments.” Michael and Barbara Lis

HAS BOOSTED HER SELF-ESTEEM “I started my daughter at Rothrock’s Kung Fu & Tai Chi studio for many different reasons. I must admit I had reservations about her being in class. Her memory isn’t like most 4th graders and I was afraid it would be more pressure on her. It turned out she loved the classes. I found that being at Rothrock’s Kung Fu & Tai Chi Studio has made Kara more aware of her potential, has boosted her self esteem, and most appropriately, has taught her that how fast you learn is not as important as trying to do your best.” Sincerely, Kerin DeBeck

The 4 Kung Fu Action Steps for Exceptional Kids
Kids Kung Fu Fit Martial Art Action Step 1 – Physical Development – Punching, Kicking and Blocking are all part of keeping your child fit and active. You’ll get them away from video games and interacting with other kids and developing responsibility. Unlike other playgrounds our playground your child will play hard. They’ll have fun interacting with other kids and because of the modern training equipment; they’ll never get bored in the Playground. Things like soccer or gymnastics, for example, are positive fun activities, but outside of the soccer field or the gymnasium, they don’t provide your child with anything lasting. The training your child will receive here does exactly the opposite.
Kids Kung Fu Fit Martial Art Action Step 2 – Emotional Development – Your child will learn the 4 rules of discipline that lead to self-discipline. The three rules of concentration teach your child to stay focused and that shows them how to keep their emotions in check. Your child will also improve their self-esteem through confidence-boosting techniques and learning that there is no such thing as failure only results. Then we teach your child how to turn those results into actions for success.
Kids Kung Fu Fit Martial Art Action Step 3 – Intellectual Development – Is important for your child to develop to do well in school and later in life. Intellectual development not only means what they are learning in school, but also understanding and comprehending their world around them. Intellectual development requires concentration. Concentration means to bring all efforts, faculties, activities, etc., to bear on one thing activity (often followed by an action of completion). Concentration is divided into 3 areas of development: Focusing the Eyes, Focusing the Mind and Focusing the Body.
Kids Kung Fu Fit Martial Art Action Step 4 – Social Development – Social Development involves everything from simple courtesies such as “Yes Sir,” “Please,” and “Thank you” to developing what we call Leadership Skills. Leadership skills involve 7 areas of development: Lead by Example, Decisions based on Knowledge, Ask for Help and Advice, Find the Win/Win, Stay Organized and Focused, Have Goals, and Show Respect to Others.
